Field-level security is a feature of the Salesforce platform that enables you to restrict view and edit access to specific fields. By default, Billing Central fields do not support field-level security (FLS). For example, if you have been granted access to the enhanced Billing Central pages such as the enhanced Billing Contract Detail page or the enhanced Billing Document Detail pages, you can view all the default fields on those pages.
Field-level security is enforced on standard Salesforce fields. For example, if you attempt to add a product to a contract, but have not been granted access to fields on the Product object, an error occurs.
Salesforce Objects
FinancialForce Billing Central adds these fields to Salesforce Opportunity objects. You must grant each user access to these fields and add them to the page layouts depending on whether they are to interact with that object.
