Setting up Localization
Before using this functionality you must complete these steps:

Enabling Localization in Feature Console
The following features must be enabled in this order:

Local Chart of Accounts Mapping Setup. This is only required if you do not have an existing chart of accounts. | Y | Y | N |
For each feature you must perform the following Feature Console steps:
- Click the Feature Console tab.
- In the Features list, click the name of the feature you want to enable, for example Localization Setup.
- For each feature step listed, click Perform. When the step has completed, the Status changes from NOT DONE to DONE.
- For each manual feature step listed, complete the tasks required. When finished click Mark as Done.
- When all the feature steps have been completed, turn the slider from (off) to (on).
You must now ensure that you have correctly configured the following:
- Go to Setup | Feature Settings | Analytics | Analytics | Settings.
- Select Grant all users access to Wave API.
- Click Save.
- Go to Setup | Users | Users.
- Ensure each necessary user has the following Permission Set Assignments:
- Analytics and Financial Statements Read Access
- Einstein Analytics Platform Admin
- Financial Analytics App Template
- Financial Analytics App Template - App Creation
- Ensure each necessary user has the following Permission Set License Assignments:
- Analytics Platform
- For the user who generates the files, ensure they have a Business Analytics license.
- Ensure the Integration User has the following Permission Set Assignments:
- Analytics and Financial Statements Read Access
- Analytics Permissions
- Assign the Integration User a FinancialForceAccounting license.
- Go to Setup | Custom Code | Custom Settings | Financial Statements Reporting Settings.
- Click Manage.
- At the top of the Setup Owner list click New.
- Paste the System Name from your Financial Analytics App into the Einstein Analytics App Name field.
- Click Save.
Selecting Localization at Company Level
To select localization at company level perform the following steps:
- Go to the Accounting Companies tab.
- Click the company you want to select localization for.
- In the Localization field click and select the relevant ISO country code.
- Click Save.
Loading a Chart of Accounts
- Open the Chart of Accounts Localization tab.
- In the Select Localization picklist select your localization.
- Click Load Chart of Accounts.The local chart of accounts loads with all GLAs selected by default.
- [Optional] Click Corporate to load the corporate GLAs.
- [Optional] Deselect any GLAs that you do not want to load. Use the search bar to find specific GLAs. Use the search GLAs field if you need to find specific GLAs.
- Click Load.
Loading Mapping
- Open the Chart of Accounts Localization tab.
- In the Select Localization picklist select your localization.
- Click Load Mapping.
- A list of mappings is displayed.
- Click Load.
Assigning Users the Accounting - Localization Audit File Permission Set
Users will only be able to generate an audit file if you assign them this permission set.
- Go to Setup | Users | Permission Sets.
- Click Accounting - Localization Audit File.
- Click Manage Assignments.
- Click Add Assignments.
- Select the checkbox for each user that requires this permission.
- Click Assign.
- Click Done.
Audit File Custom Settings
The Async Record Limit field in the XML settings custom setting define the maximum number of records processed in each asynchronous batch when XML audit files are generated and sent to Analytics.
The default value is set to 10,000. The asynchronous processes used to generate the XML audit files are governed by your Salesforce instance. If Salesforce limits are encountered and errors occur, reduce the value in this custom setting.
