Deleting Audit Data Records

You can delete audit files that were generated using Data Loader.

Note: You cannot use a delete and generate process at the same time. If you start one of these processes you must wait until it finishes before starting the next process.

Generating an audit file results in an audit data record being created. These are temporary records which you can delete to save storage. This does not delete the actual documents in the data record. It only deletes the temporary audit data record used to generate the audit file.

  1. Go to the Audit Data tab.
  2. Use the checkbox to select the audit data records you want to delete.
  3. Click Delete.

When the deletion process finishes one email is sent for each audit data record deleted, confirming success or failure of the deletion.
