Salesforce automatically generates the integration user when Analytics is enabled in your org. This user needs the relevant access permissions to link your Salesforce data with Analytics.
This user requires a Accounting license and read access to Accounting. Additionally, your administrator must link the Accounting permission set Analytics and Financial Statements Read Access to the integration user. For more information, see "Permission Sets Added Incrementally" in the Accounting Help.
The integration user requires licenses to access object data from different products to create datasets and dashboards. For more information on the licenses required by the integration user, see Licensing.
In addition:
- Your administrator must link the Accounting permission set Accounting - Multi Book - Read Access to the integration user if you have the Multi-Book Accounting feature enabled in your org.
- Your administrator must link the Foundations permission set FDN Core - Analytics - Read to the integration user to create the Billing Document and Billing Contracts datasets.
- Your administrator must link the permission set Billing Central Analytics Read Access to the integration user, to extract data from Billing Central objects and display it in Business Analytics.
- Your administrator must link the permission set RevMan Analytics to the integration user, to extract data from your Revenue Management objects and display it in Business Analytics.
- Your administrator must ensure the integration user currency is equal to the org's Dual Currency before creating the Financial Management Analytics app.
For Winter 2021, if you are also generating the Revenue Waterfall dataset and the Deferred Revenue Waterfall dashboard you must manually assign the integration user Read and View All permissions to the following Revenue Management objects and fields:
Objects |

Additionally, if you are using an Accounting version prior to Winter 2021 you need to manually assign the Integration User permissions to the following fields:
- c2g__CODAAccountsPayableControl__c
- c2g__CODAAccountsReceivableControl__c
- c2g__CODABankAccountNumber__c
- c2g__CODABankSWIFTNumber__c

All users who intend to create apps using the App Template Design wizard require:
- A Accounting license.
- A Business Analytics license.
- [Optional] A Billing Central license to add the Billing Contracts dataset.
- One of the following permission sets assigned: the Financial Management Analytics App Template permission set (to use Financial Analytics and Financial Statements) or the Financial Statements App Template permission set (to use just Financial Statements).
- Read access to the General Ledger Account, Company, and all dimension objects in Accounting.
Users who only require access to the information related to their assigned company need the Analytics Platform User permission set assigned. See "User Companies" in the Accounting Help for more information on assigning user access to FinancialForce companies. With this permission, users can view the information in apps shared with them by the administrator.
Your company may prefer to use Financial Management Analytics in one of the following ways:
- Your administrator is responsible for creating applications using the App Template Design wizard and sharing them with the necessary users.
- Users create applications using the App Template Design wizard themselves. In this case, these users require the Financial Analytics App Template - App Creation permission set.
