What is Chatter?
Chatter is a private social network that runs within your Salesforce/FinancialForce environment. If you are new to Chatter or would like to find out more about its features, read the Salesforce Chatter Overview first.
Enabling Chatter
FinancialForce Supply Chain Management is Chatter enabled, but if you want to use this feature you must check that Chatter feed tracking is enabled on the source objects that have fields you want to see updates for. You can enable Chatter feed from Setup.
To enable your Chatter feed for an SCM object:
- Click Setup | Customize | Chatter | Feed Tracking.
- Select the SCM object you want to enable feed tracking on.
- Select the Enable Feed Tracking checkbox.
- Click Save.
