Creating a Milestone

Notes:

• The main procedure is for users of record pages supplied by FinancialForce from Fall 2020.
• From Fall 2020, if you are not using the pages supplied by FinancialForce, your administrator can add the PSA Actions: Project Financials component to the project record page.

To create a new milestone A fixed target, which when achieved, can be billed to the customer for a fixed fee or by logging time against it.:

1. On a project record, click Actions | Project Financials | New Milestone. The New Milestone window opens. Using Classic: On the Milestones tab, click New, or on the Milestones related list, click New Milestone. The New Milestone page opens.
2. Enter the fields as described in Milestone Fields.
3. Click Save.
4. Assign project resources to the milestone by editing the Milestone field on a current or new assignment Connection between a resource and a project.. This enables the resources to log time against the assignment.
