The following new features have been introduced in the October 2022 release of FinancialForce Services CPQ.
Creating Multiple Projects from an Estimate
You can now create multiple projects from an estimate using estimate products. Each estimate product can only be associated with one project. For example, if your estimate contains two estimate products, you can create one project containing both of those products, or one project per estimate product.
To support this change, we have added the Pushed to Opportunity and Project fields to the Estimate Product Instance object. We have also added the Source Estimate Product Instance to the Project Source object in PSA. For more information, see the following topics:
Rows in the Estimate Builder
You can now reorder the rows of records in the Estimate Builder component, enabling you to reparent them. You can also expand and collapse all rows using the new buttons on the Estimate Builder component. For more information, see Configuring an Estimate and Estimate Builder Component Buttons.
Margin in the Estimate Builder
We have added the Margin (Percent) field to the Estimate Builder component, which enables you to view the margin of each record in the builder as a percentage. The existing Margin column has been renamed to Margin (Amount) to differentiate the two fields. Your administrator can choose whether these fields are displayed. Suggested Resource Field
We have added the Suggested Resource field to the Estimate Role Request object, which is also displayed in the Estimate Builder component. The field enables you to specify a recommended resource for the role request. Your administrator must enable this functionality using the new custom setting.

Services to Salesforce CPQ Integration
We have enhanced our Services to Salesforce CPQ integration to enable a simpler flow for the use of services estimates in Salesforce CPQ. You can now select a quote to associate with an estimate at the point of creation, and we have added a Create Estimate button to the quote line editor in Salesforce CPQ.
When an estimate is associated with a quote, any estimate products on the estimate are added to the quote as a quote line. Any other details on the estimate that are not related to estimate products are added also to the quote as a quote line. These details are associated with the selected estimate product. All the quote lines are then grouped in a quote line group named Services. For more information, see Pushing an Estimate to a Quote and Creating an Estimate from a Quote.
