Here is a description of the fields that make up an analysis dimension. Some of these fields might not be visible or editable at all times, or in all package combinations.
Information Fields
Key: R – Read-only ; * – Mandatory field; M – multi-currency organizations only
The number indicates the number of characters that are allowed in this text field, where appropriate.;

When selected, indicates that values for this dimension are disabled. To assign to documents, mappings, or definitions, it must be deselected. Default is deselected. |

| Type | ID used to identify the dimension type. | ||

Posting Effective Dates Fields

| Allow Posting | For documents assigned to this dimension, this determines between which dates documents can be posted. |
| Date From | Documents assigned to this dimension can only be posted from this date, until the date in the Date To field. |
| Date To | Documents assigned to this dimension can only be posted from the date in the Date From field, until the date in this field. |
