You can use the Lightning Page and In-App Assignment feature in Feature Console to:

  • Assign the new Lightning record pages as org default.
  • Update Page Layouts.
  • Activate the in-app guidance for Payable Invoice and Payable Credit Note.

To assign the Lightning Record Page and In-App guidance feature:

  1. Click the Feature Console tab.
  2. [Optional] Filter the list of features by app or status.
  3. Click Lightning Page and In-App Assignment feature.
  4. For each feature step, click Launch or Perform. When the step has completed, the Status changes from NOT DONE to DONE.

  6. For each manual feature step listed, complete the tasks required. When finished click Mark as Done.
  7. When all the feature steps have been completed, turn the status slider from (off) to (on) in the feature section.

Customizing the List of Actions on Lightning Record Pages

Note: Due to a Salesforce known issue, standard buttons that are overridden with a Visualforce page are removed when you edit the page layout.

By default, Lightning Experience actions are predefined by Salesforce. If you are upgrading to Fall 2019, we recommend that you customize the list of actions on the relevant page layouts.

To add these buttons, complete the following steps:

  1. From Setup, navigate to the object, edit the relevant button, and remove the Visualforce override. For example, for the Salesforce Classic Override, select Standard Page and click Save.
  2. Edit the page layout and add the button to the layout. You can drag the button from the Mobile Lightning Actions section of the palette to the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section of the page layout and click Add the Visualforce override to the button and click Save.
  3. Add the Visualforce override to the button and click Save.

For more information about overriding standard buttons and customizing page layouts, see the Salesforce Help.
