Setting up Bulk Document Processing

FinancialForce OneTouch includes the ability to perform the following bulk processing operations with a single click:

Your administrator must perform the following setup tasks to enable these optional features:

  • Install the FinancialForce OneTouch extension package. Visit the FinancialForce Community website for more information.
  • Enable enhanced lists if they are not already. See the Salesforce Help for more information.
  • Add a custom button to the appropriate list view layout.

To add a custom button to post multiple documents:

  1. From Setup, click Create | Objects.
  2. Click the name of one of the document objects such as sales invoices.
  3. Scroll down to the Search Layouts section.
  4. Click Edit next to the corresponding List View.
  5. Add the Post button to the Selected Buttons list.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Change the label of this Post button, for example to OneTouch Post. This is to avoid confusing it with the Post button now available in the list views for invoices and credit notes.
  8. Repeat for the remaining document types.
Note:

You cannot use this OneTouch Post button to post sales invoices with income schedules, and invoices or credit notes that have their tax value calculated by AvaTax.

To add a custom button to clone multiple journals:

  1. From Setup, click Create | Objects.
  2. Click the Journal label.
  3. Scroll down to the Search Layouts section.
  4. Click Edit next to Journals List View.
  5. Add the Clone Many button to the Selected Buttons list.
  6. Click Save.
