Services Delivery Desktop App

The Services Delivery desktop app contains the following tabs:

  • Services Delivery Workspace
  • Projects
  • Project Tasks
  • Timecards
  • Expense Reports
  • Chatter

Services Delivery Workspace

The Services Delivery workspace is the default landing page for the Services Delivery app. It acts as a starting point for consultants, resources, or any member of your organization who submits timecards and creates expense reports.

For more information, see Services Delivery Workspace.

Projects

The Projects tab opens the Projects list view. For more information, see Projects.

Project Tasks

The Project Tasks tab opens the Project Task list view. For more information, see Project Tasks.

Timecards

The Timecards tab opens the Timecards list view. You can use timecards to enter the time you have spent working on projects, assignments, and tasks. Submit or recall timecards for any hours recorded. For more information, see Timecards.

Expense Reports

The Expense Reports tab opens the Expense Reports list view. An expense report represents a folder for a given resource and project in which one or more expenses are grouped, submitted, and approved. An expense report can also be associated with an assignment or a milestone for the project. For more information, see Expense Reports.

Chatter

Chatter is a private social network within your Salesforce/FinancialForce environment. If you are new to Chatter or would like to find out more about its features, read the Salesforce Chatter Overview first.

FinancialForce PSA is Chatter enabled. This means you can access Chatter's feeds and file-sharing features from within the application.

Note: You must have the existing workspace permission sets to access these apps from the App Launcher. Most of the tabs are list views, but some tabs are redirected to pages. To access the pages and their contents you must be provided with the relevant functional area permission sets. For more information, contact your administrator.
