Installing Managed Packages
If you are already enrolled in the Continuous Update program, you can skip this section.
Information about the Continuous Update program and how to opt in for Winter 2023 updates is available on the FinancialForce Community.
Upgrade Installed by the Onboarding Team
To prepare for upgrading:
- Submit a case to the Onboarding team via the FinancialForce Community to let them know you want to upgrade.
- Create a system administrator user for the Onboarding team to use when performing the upgrade and set the email address on the user to ffonboarding.logins@financialforce.com.
Installing the Upgrade
If you are not enrolled in the Continuous Update program, and the Onboarding team is not installing the upgrades for you:
- Ensure that the following packages are already installed in your org:
- You must install the following package as a mandatory package before installing or upgrading to this release of FinancialForce Planning:
- FinancialForce Foundations Winter 2023
- You must install the following package as a mandatory package before installing or upgrading to this release of FinancialForce Planning:
- Follow the steps for installing managed packages as described in the Salesforce documentation and use the password provided.
The installation runs in the background. When it completes, you receive a confirmation email message.
If the installation of the package is unsuccessful, the email you receive contains further instructions and an error number. We recommend you try to install the package again before contacting FinancialForce Customer Support. For contact details, see Contacting Customer Support.
