This Feature Console page updates Revenue Management so that you can create FinancialForce Accounting journals for revenue amounts on committed revenue recognition transactions. Enabling the feature creates publications and subscriptions that connect with those created by the Journal Integration with Return Data feature. You must therefore enable the Journal Integration with Return Data feature before enabling this feature.
Work through the steps in the order shown.
- For each automatic step, click Perform. When the step has completed, the Status changes from “Not Done†to “Doneâ€.
- For each manual step, follow the instructions on screen then click Mark As Done when the step is complete. More information about performing the manual steps is provided below.
When you have completed all the steps, use the Status slider in the Feature section to enable the feature. If you have custom fields on your revenue recognition transaction lines and you want to map their values to journal lines, add them to the CreateJournalFromRRT publication for the Journal.Create message type.
Manually Assign Permissions to Users
Assign the RRT to Journal Integration permission set to your existing Revenue Management and FinancialForce Accounting users who need the additional permission to create journals from revenue recognition transactions. Users must also be assigned the FDN Core and FDN Common Concepts permission sets.
You must also grant users Edit permissions for your revenue recognition source objects.

The following unmanaged fields are added by enabling this feature. Manually add them to the relevant page layouts.
