Creating a Journal from a Single Miscellaneous Adjustment

To create a journal from a single eligible miscellaneous adjustment:

1. Click the Miscellaneous Adjustments tab.
2. Open the miscellaneous adjustment that you want to create a journal from.
3. Click Create Journal. If the miscellaneous adjustment is eligible for creating a journal, a confirmation message displays. If the miscellaneous adjustment is not eligible, a list of errors displays. If that happens, do the following:
1. Click Close.
2. Fix each error.
3. Perform this step again.
4. Click Create. Once the journal is created, a success message displays.
5. [Optional] Click the name of the journal to open it.
