Managing Intersect Definitions
The intersect definition list page displays a list of intersect definitions in your current view. From this page, you can view detailed information and access other related information.
- Click an Intersect Name to view its detail.
- Click Edit to edit the intersect definition.
- Choose a predefined view from the drop-down list to select the records to display. Alternatively, you can select Create New View to define your own list view.
- Click Printable View to display the current list view in a format that is ready for printing.
- Click New Intersect Definition to create a new intersect definition.
- Click any column heading to sort the records using that column’s data.

Displaying Intersect Definitions
Once you have located an intersect definition on the home or list pages, click its name to display detailed information.
Editing Intersect Definitions
You cannot edit most fields on an intersect definition that is associated with an existing budget and balance instance. The exception to this is the Update Secondary Balances checkbox.
To update an unused intersect definition, click Edit, and then change the fields you want to update. When you have finished, click Save. You can also click Save & New to save the current record and then create another.
Deleting Intersect Definitions
You cannot delete an intersect definition that is associated with an existing budget and balance instance.
To delete an intersect definition that you no longer need:
- Once you have located the intersect definition that you want to delete on the home or list pages, click its name to display its detail page.
- Click Delete. A warning message is displayed.
- Click OK to confirm the deletion. The deleted record is moved to the recycle bin.
