Linking Rate Card Sets

Link rate cards in sets and apply a set to a project or opportunity to determine project rates.

Linking Rate Card Sets to Rate Cards

To link rate cards to a rate card set, add the PSA Link Rate Card Set To Rate Cards component to the Rate Card Set Lightning record page. For more information about adding our components to record pages, see PSA Lightning Components.

To link a rate card set to a rate card:

  1. Select a Rate Card Set record on the Rate Card Sets page.
  2. On a Rate Card Set page record page, click Linked Rate Cards. Rate cards currently linked to the rate card set are displayed.
  3. Click Link Rate Cards.
  4. In the Link Rate Cards window, select a Rate Card Role. The rate cards for the selected role are displayed.
  5. Select the checkboxes of the available rate cards you want to link to the set.
  6. Click Save. The rate cards are successfully linked to the rate card set.

Unlinking Rate Cards from a Rate Card Set

To unlink rate cards from a set:

  1. On the Rate Card Set page record page, click Linked Rate Cards.
  2. In the Rate Cards Linked To Rate Card Set section, select the checkboxes of the rate cards you want to unlink from the rate card set.
  3. Click Unlink Rate Cards. The rate cards are successfully unlinked from the rate card set.

Associating Rate Cards to Rate Card Sets

To associate a rate card from a rate set:

  1. Click Associate New Rate Card.
  2. In the Available Rate Cards popup, from the Rate Card Role drop-down list, select a rate card role.
  3. From the list displayed, select one or more rate cards to include in the set and click Associate. PSA associates the cards with the set. See default-role-on-rate-card-set for information on configuring the default role.
  4. Repeat the steps above for any other rate cards you want to add.
  5. [Optional] Click Associate New Rate Card and in the Available Rate Cards popup, from the Rate Card Role drop-down list, select None from the drop-down list and associate one of the rate cards displayed with the set. This rate card is applied to any roles that do not have an explicit rate card in the set.
  6. Click the Rate Card Sets tab to return to the list of sets available.

Disassociating Rate Cards From Rate Card Sets

You must have the delete permission on the Rate Card Set Junction object to disassociate rate cards from rate card sets.

To disassociate a rate card from a rate set:

  1. On the Rate Card Sets page, select a rate card set name.
  2. From the list displayed in the Associated Rate Cards section, select one or more rate cards in the Action column you want to disassociate from the rate card set.
  3. Click Disassociate. PSA disassociates the cards with the set.
  4. Repeat the steps above for any other rate cards you want to disassociate.
  5. Click the Rate Card Sets tab to return to the list of sets available.
