Troubleshooting Timecard Transmission Errors

If you receive an error message after requesting timecard data from PSA:

  1. Navigate to the Timecard Transmissions tab in PSA to view a list of timecard transmissions, their creation date, and their status.
  2. Click the relevant timecard transmission in the list. The Timecard Transmission Detail page is displayed, showing the status of the transmission, and any error message returned.

If timecard data was not successfully sent for some or all of the resources specified in a POST request, records are displayed in the Resource Transmissions related list. The status is Complete if a resource transmission was successful. If unsuccessful, the status is Pending.

You must resolve the issues described in the error message and resend the POST request.

Notes:

If you view a timecard transmission and there are no records displayed in the Resource Transmissions related list, it means that the selected timecard transmission was successful.

You must have been assigned the PSA Timecard API permission set to be able to access the Timecard Transmissions tab and view timecard transmission and resource transmission records.
