Managing Budget Templates
The budget templates list page displays a list of budget details templates in your current company and view. You can view detailed information from this page and access other related information.
- Click a budget template name to view its details.
- Click Edit to edit the budget template details.
- Click Create Template to create a budget template.
- Click any column heading to sort the records using that column's data.
- The Apps column shows the number of Budgets that have been created using each template.
- In the Description column, you can store brief information important for this template.

Once you have located a budget template on the Budget Templates home or list pages, click the name to display detailed information.

To update a budget template, click | Edit and change the fields you want to update. When you have finished, click Save.

To create a budget template to the budget, perform the following:
- Do one of the following:
- On the Links page, click Budgets | Budget Templates.
- On the Planning Workspace tab, in the Navigation Pane, click Budget Templates.
- Fill in the field details and select the template.
- Click Save.
The template is available on the Budgets list page associated with the application.

You can clone one or more budget templates and associate them with any budget.
To clone an existing budget template:
- Once you have located the budget template you want to clone on the link or list pages, click
| Edit.
- Change the fields you want to update and click Clone. A new budget template is created with “Cloned” added to the budget template title. For example, Base Template Cloned.

To delete a budget template that you no longer need:
- Once you have located the budget template you want to delete on the link or list pages, click its name to display its detail page.
- Click
| Delete. A warning message is displayed.
- Click OK to confirm the deletion. The record gets deleted.
