Creating Tags
You must display the tags manually. Depending on the requirement, you can add any number of tags. Only an administrator can add tags and make them visible.
To search the existing tags, enter the tag name in the Search field and click Search. You can also check the Search in all fields checkbox to refine your search better.
To reset filters applied, click | Reset all Filters.
This is an example of manually creating an employee tag and then applying a rate tag to it.
To create an employee tag, perform the following:
- From the Planning Setup tab, navigate to Setup | Tags and click Create Tags. The summary of records is displayed.
- Navigate to Dimensions and locate the Employee tag that was created from the Setup.
- You must select the Displayed checkbox to make the Employee tag visible.
- Click the Employee tag name or click Open to open the Employee tag.
- Click Add New.
- Enter the first username in the First User Name field. For example, Peter.
- Enter the last name in the Last Name field. For example, John.
- Enter the name in the Name field. For example, Peter John.
- Click Save and New to save the tag record and create a new one.
- Enter the first username in the First User Name field. For example, Michal.
- Enter the last name in the Last Name field. For example, Herry.
- Enter the name in the Name field. For example, Michal Herry.
- Click Save and click Back to List to go back to the Employee List page.
The details for the employee tag records are displayed on the Employee List page.
To create a new rate tag, perform the following:
- In the Dimensions, locate the Rate tag.
- You must select the Displayed checkbox to make the Rate tag visible.
- Click the Rate tag name or click Open to open the Rate tag.
- Click Add New.
- Enter the rate. For example, 10%.
- Select the employee name from the Employee field. For example, select EMP-029036 Peter John.
- [Optional] Select the currency that you want to apply to the employee.
- [Optional] Select the amount you want to apply.
- [Optional] Enter the description that appears in the rate description. For example, Description for 10% Rate.
- Enter a unique name for the rate.
- Click Save and New to save the rate tag record and create a new one.
- Enter the rate. For example, 15%.
- Select the employee name from the Employee field. For example, select EMP-029037 Michal Herry.
- [Optional] Select the currency that you want to apply to the employee.
- [Optional] Select the amount you want to apply.
- [Optional] Enter the description that appears in the rate description. For example, Description for 15% Rate.
- Enter a unique name for the rate. For example, 15% Rate.
The details for the rate tag records are displayed on the Rate List page.
To edit the existing tag. Click | Edit. To delete the current tag, click | Delete.
