Creating a Reporting Object

To create a new reporting object Defines which objects in an organization are available for reporting.:

1. Click the Reporting Objects tab.
2. Click New.
3. Specify a name for the reporting object. This name appears in Object picklists on the reporting filter Reusable query criteria. and reporting data range Defines the 'pot' of data to be reported on. pages.
4. Enter the API name of the Salesforce object you want to report on. This name must be an exact match of the API name in the corresponding object definition. For example:

   c2g__ReportingBalance__c

5. Click Save or, if you want to save the current record and immediately create another, click Save & New.
