Creating a New Reporting Prompt
To create a new reporting prompt Information that the user provides at run time.:
- Click the Reporting Definitions tab.
- Open the relevant reporting definition detail page by clicking its name in the list of reporting definitions.
- Scroll down to the Reporting Prompts related list and click New Reporting Prompt.
- Provide the following information:
- Reporting Prompt Name: give the new reporting prompt a name. This name appears as the prompt.
- Reporting Definition: skip this field as it is predefined.
- Type: select the type of reporting prompt you want to create from the picklist. If you select Company, leave all other fields blank. For all other types, complete the remaining fields as described in Reporting Prompt Fields.
- Click Save or, if you want to save the current record and immediately create another, click Save & New.
To edit an existing reporting prompt, click Edit next to the name of the prompt on the Reporting Prompts related list.
