Pulling SCM Documents into Accounting

The SCM Accounting Connector pulls documents manually or automatically depending on the configuration your system administrator has chosen. If your administrator has not chosen to automatically import documents into Certinia Accounting, you can manually pull:

  • Invoices as sales invoices
  • AP vouchers as payable invoices
  • Inventory transaction financial records as journals

Pulling Invoices

To pull invoices:

  1. Click the Sales Invoices tab in Certinia Accounting.
  2. Click Pull SCM Invoices on the list view.
  3. Check the Export Status fields on your SCM documents.
Note:

You can only pull invoices that are closed, associated with a completed shipment, and have an export status of "New", and contain no errors on the Export Error field.

Pulling AP Vouchers

To pull AP vouchers:

  1. Click the Payable Invoices tab in Certinia Accounting.
  2. Click Pull AP Vouchers on the list view.
  3. Check the Export Status fields on your SCM documents.
Note:

You can only pull AP vouchers that are matched, have an export status of "New", and contain no errors on the Export Error field.

Pulling Inventory Transaction Financial Records

To pull inventory transaction financial records:

  1. Click the Journals tab in Certinia Accounting.
  2. Click Pull SCM Journals on the list view.
  3. Check the Export Status fields on your SCM documents.
Note:

Inventory transaction financial records will be excluded from the pulling process if they are associated to one of the following types of inventory transaction perpetual records:

  • Adjust Condition
  • Adjust Ownership
  • Allocate Customer Items
  • Allocate Supplier Items
  • Inspection
  • Inspection Accept
  • Inspection Accept Us as Is
  • Inspection Accept Use as Is
  • Inspection Accept with Deviation
  • Inspection Reject
  • Item Hold
  • Locate Inventory
  • Return to Stock
  • Reverse Allocate Supplier Items
  • Reverse Customer Allocation
  • Reverse Cycle Count
  • Reverse Inspection
  • Reverse Issue Customer Items Pick-list
  • Reverse Issue Supplier Items Pick-List
  • Reverse Item Hold
  • Reverse Item Transfer Outbound
  • Reverse Locate Inventory
  • Reverse Miscellaneous Issue
  • Reverse Receive Exchanged Items (Cores)
  • Reverse Return to Stock
  • Reverse Scrap Inventory
