The UM tab in the Codes tab enables you to set up the units of measure to be used throughout SCM. Units of measure can represent a single item such as an each, or they can represent several items such as a crate or a box of items.
A unit of measure can represent a length or physical attribute such as a meter or kilogram. You can also create a unit of measure for an intangible item for instance, you might create the UOM
Unit of Measure user if your organization sells software licenses.
