Managing Custom Settings from the Custom Settings Tab

You can manage some settings from Custom Settings tabs. Some custom fields require specific values. The Custom Settings tab allows you to choose values from drop-down lists and checkboxes rather than entering textual values. When you change custom fields on this tab, this also changes the corresponding custom fields in the appropriate custom setting in setup. You must be signed in with system administrator permissions to change these settings.

To manage custom settings from the Custom Settings Tab:

  1. Click All Tabs | Custom Settings | Customize Settings.
  2. Select the profile to which you want to apply the settings.
  3. Select the values you want.
  4. Click Save Setting.
