Creating a Sales Credit Note from a Single Billing Document

To create a sales credit note from a single billing document:

  1. Click the Billing Documents tab.
  2. Open the billing document that you want to create a sales credit note from.
  3. Click Create Sales Invoice or Credit Note.
  4. Click Create to confirm the action. Depending on how your org is set up and the number of billing document line items, the sales credit note might be created immediately or in the background.
  5. [Optional] Open the related record to view more information. Depending on how the process is executed, do one of the following:
    • If the sales credit note is created immediately, click the name of the record to open it.
    • If the sales credit note is created in the background, click View Process Run to open the related process run record.
