Action Queues Shipping Tab

The Shipping tab enables you to manage shipments. This includes viewing, printing, and confirming shipments going to customers and suppliers, as well as shipments that transfer items between warehouses in your orgClosed Salesforce organization. See also organization.. The tab also enables you to add carrier information and fees to these shipments. You can also use the Shipping tab to view and print shipments for items that are waiting to enter the shipping process. These are shipments associated with picklists that have not been yet confirmed.

You can find the Shipping tab:

  • For Lightning Experience, as a standard tab included in the Action Queues app.
  • For Salesforce Classic, as a subtab within the Action Queues tab.

The Shipping tab includes the following sections:

  • Ship Material to Customer: Displays shipments that must be sent to customers. These are shipments associated with sales orders. You can print and confirm the displayed shipments and also add carrier information and fees to them.
  • Ship Material to Supplier: Displays shipments that must be sent to suppliers. These are shipments associated with purchase order lines of type "Service". Service purchase order lines are used for items that are shipped out for a service and received back into inventory following the service. You can print and confirm the displayed shipments and also add carrier information and fees to them.
  • Transfer Parts to Warehouse: Displays shipments of items that are being transferred to another warehouse. These are shipments associated with transfer requests. You can print and confirm the displayed shipments and also add carrier information and fees to them.
  • Waiting for Items to be Pulled for Customer Orders: Displays shipments associated with sales orders whose picklists have not yet been confirmed. You can print the displayed shipments.
  • Waiting for Parts to Ship Material to Supplier: displays shipments associated with purchase orders whose picklists have not yet been confirmed. You can print the displayed shipments.
  • Waiting for Parts to Transfer to Warehouse: displays shipments associated with transfer requests whose picklists have not yet been confirmed. You can print the displayed shipments.
