Creating a Bill of Material

To create a bill of material Bill of Material. The items that make up a product. For example, if the product is a table, this might include the table top, four legs and a bag of screws. for an item:

1. Click New Bill of Material in the Bills of Material related list.
2. Select the item that makes up the bill of material.
3. Enter the number of the item that goes into the parent in the Quantity Per Assembly field.
4. Click Save.
5. Add a new bill of materials for each item to be included.

Note:

Only two levels are allowed. A child bill of materials cannot contain a bill of materials.
