Unit of Measure

The UM tab in the Codes tab enables you to set up the units of measure to be used throughout Order and Inventory Management. Units of measure can represent a single item such as an each, or they can represent several items such as a crate or a box of items.

A unit of measure can represent a length or physical attribute such as a meter or kilogram. You can also create a unit of measure for an intangible item for instance, you might create the UOM Unit of Measure user if your organization sells software licenses.
