Billing Forecast Setup Category Fields

The billing forecast setup category record includes the following fields.

Field		Description
Billing Forecast Setup		Billing forecast setup this billing forecast category is used with. You must enter multipliers for at least one billing forecast category. If you do not want to use a billing forecast category, leave the multiplier fields blank.
Billings	*	Multiplier applied to the actual billable amount on a project. This includes Billed Timecards, Billed Milestones, and Miscellaneous Adjustments.
Category Order	*	Order the billing forecast categories are applied in the billing forecast calculation. You can enter values from 1 to 3.
Expenses	*	Multiplier applied to the expenses on a project. This is the billable amount of the expenses.
Held Resource Requests	*	Multiplier applied to the resource request hours on a project, when the Resource Held field is checked.
Label	*	Labels for the billing forecast categories available are Expected, Best Case, Worst Case. Tip: To change a billing forecast category label that is used on the Billing Forecast Detail or Billing Forecast Summary objects, for example “Worst Case”, and have the change visible in reports and object views, you can use Salesforce Translation Workbench. When you have changed the label, you must navigate to the Billing Forecast Setup tab and save the billing forecast setup details. This creates a new version of the billing forecast setup and ensures that the updated label is displayed on any subsequent billing forecast calculations. Warning: If you are translating a label into more than one language, the label displayed for all users in your org will be the same as the one displayed for the user who performs the billing forecast setup. You must configure at least one billing forecast category. For the Expected billing forecast category, the default multiplier for each project and opportunity forecast factor is 1.0. The Best Case and Worst Case categories default to null. If you do not want to use a billing forecast category, leave the multiplier fields for that category blank.
Opportunities	*	Multiplier applied to opportunities for this billing forecast category. Opportunities that are included in Billing Forecasting have the Is Services Opportunity checkbox selected, and do not have an associated project with the Include in Forecast checkbox selected.
Scheduled Assignments	*	Multiplier applied to the value of the assignments on a project.
Scheduled Milestones	*	Multiplier applied to the value of the scheduled milestones for a project.
Unheld Resource Requests	*	Multiplier applied to the planned resource request hours for a project, when the Resource Held field is unchecked.
Unscheduled Backlog	*	Multiplier applied to the value of the unscheduled backlog on a project, using the value generated by the backlog calculation.
