You can use resource request sets to hold more than one resource against a resource request. You can use a resource request set to hold multiple resources as candidates for a particular task.

When one of the resource requests in the resource request set is staffed with the most appropriate resource, the status of the other resource requests in the same set is updated to "Canceled".

When a resource request belongs to a resource request set, you cannot edit its Project, Opportunity or Account fields.

To automatically update the fields below on all other resource requests in the resource request set, when a specific resource request is staffed, select use-resource-request-sets and then select Update Related Resource Requests on each resource request record in the set:

• Related Resource Request Staffed On
• Resource Request Set
• Staffed Related Resource Request
• Status
  Set to “Assigned” on the resource request that is assigned, all other resource requests are set to “Canceled”.
