Forecast Controller Fields

Here is a description of the fields (in alphabetical order) that make up a Forecast Controller.

Note: All the Forecast Controller fields are the field that are listed on the Forecast Controller page and it is not a custom object.

Forecast Controller Fields

Field Name		Description
Additional BA Filter		An additional filter for budgets used for generating the forecast.
Additional Source Child Filter		A global filter for actual source data that is for records of the second level.
Additional Source Head Filter		A global filter for source actual data for parent records.
Configuration Name		Unique name for the current configuration.
Forecast End Date		Indicates the date when the forecast ends.
Forecast Start Date		Indicates the date when the forecast starts.
Select BA for unmapped data		Indicates a budget application to where all data will go that falls under the global filter.
Select Container		The mapping rule that turns actual data into budgets. This mapping rule is a container housing the settings for transforming dimensions. It does not post while the forecast controller is running.
Select Forecast		Indicates a specific type of forecast needed to generate forecast budgets.
Select Forecast Configuration		A list of all the available forecast configurations.
Select Forecast Dimension		Indicates a dimension that determines whether a budget belongs to a group of forecast budgets.

Clone	Clone the copy of the existing forecast configuration.
New	Adds a new forecast configuration.
Run Forecast Controller	Starts the forecast controller.
Save	Saves the forecast configuration record.
