Deleting Recognition Transactions

You can delete a recognition transaction if its status is "In Progress", "Error", "Discarded", or "Replaced". If you need to delete a recognition transaction that has the "Committed" status you must discard it first.

To delete a recognition transaction:

  1. Click the Recognition Transactions tab.
  2. Choose a view from the drop-down list.
  3. Locate the relevant transaction and click its transaction number.
  4. Review the transaction and check its status.
  5. When you are sure it is the transaction you want to delete, click Delete.

The transaction and its transaction lines are deleted. Any records in the transaction's Recognition Transaction Summaries and Recognition Error Logs related lists are also deleted. (Error logs that might relate to multiple transactions are not deleted.) All the deleted records are moved to the Salesforce Recycle Bin.

Note:

In most circumstances the only fields on a recognition transaction that you can edit directly are Description and Legislation Type. If you want to edit values in other fields, you must delete the transaction and start again.
