Creating a Tax Group Company

Before creating a tax group company, ensure that the record types and the home currencies of the tax group companies and the primary company of the tax group match.

To create a tax group company:

  1. Navigate to the Tax Groups tab.
  2. Open the record that you want to create a tax group company for.
  3. Go to the Related tab.
  4. Click New.
  5. In the Company field select the company that you want to add a tax group to.
  6. In the Tax Group field select the tax group that you want to add the tax group company to.
  7. In the Date Added field, select the date the company joins the tax group. The default is today's date.
  8. Click Save.

You can also create a tax group company from the Tax Group Company tab. To do so, repeat steps 4-8.
