Accounting Journal API Settings
You can use the following fields to control how you want to manage records that third-parties create via the Accounting Journal API.
Field | Description | Default Value |

API Journal Description | The description Accounting applies to journals created using the Accounting Journal API. Enter a value to help users identify that records have been created automatically from third-party data or to assist reporting. If no value is specified, the journal description is blank. If the API Journal Description value changes, Accounting only applies the new value to subsequent journals created via the API. Accounting does not automatically update the description of journals that have already been created. | Null |
API Suspense Account | The Salesforce record ID of the general ledger account to use as a suspense account for balancing lines created using the Accounting Journal API. You must enter an ID if journal line items exceed the Manual Journal Line Limit in Document Line Volume Settings. | Null |
