Launch the Preflight Checks Manually

There will be times when, as a sys admin you might want to run preflight checks in your org at a time different from the scheduled automatic preflight checks. You might have made changes to your org and would like to know that your org preflight checks run successfully without having to wait for the automated preflight checks to run. This earlier than scheduled run will enable you to identify and remedy any issues as soon as possible prior to the product upgrade. An automatic preflight check might have run prior to a scheduled upgrade. If issues were found during this check you might want to fix them and run the preflight check again immediately to ensure the issues are fixed.

You can run preflight checks manually from the Preflight Checks page of the Updates and Product Versions section of the System Administration Workspace.

To run the preflight checks manually, click Run Preflight.
