Managing Major Update Schedules
You can manage major update schedule tasks from the Major Update Schedules page as follows:
- View major release update schedules and schedule details.
- Select an available update schedule.
- Select sandbox orgs for update.
- Change the selected update schedule.
View Major Release Update Schedules
View a major release update schedule as follows:
- Select the appropriate release year tab.
- Click an update schedule card.
- View the schedule details on the right of the window.
Select an Available Update Schedule
Select an available update schedule as follows:
- Select the appropriate release year tab.
- Click the available update schedule tile you want to select.
- Toggle the production org switch.
- Toggle the sandbox org switches to select the sandbox orgs you want to update.
- Click Save.
Change the Selected Update Schedule
You can change your selected update schedule as follows:
- Select the appropriate release year tab.
- Click the currently selected update schedule card.
- Toggle the production org switch.
- Click the update schedule tile you want to change to.
- Toggle the production org switch.
- Toggle the sandbox org switches to select the sandbox orgs you want to update.
- Click Save.
Automatic Update Schedule Enrollment
Automatic update schedule enrollment becomes active once you have chosen an update schedule for each major release for the current year. The system automatically enrolls the customers on that release on the same major release update schedules for the following year negating the requirement of you to manually input schedule choices that won't change from year to year.
Automatic update schedule enrollment is available for production orgs.
If you want to reschedule your automatically enrolled major updates, you can do so by following the Change the Selected Update Schedule procedure.
