Creating Dashboards Using Utilization Calculation Type Picklist

You can use the utilization calculation type picklist available in your active PS Cloud Analytics Setup record to create dashboards on your PS Cloud Advanced Analytics app.

To create dashboards, you can select one of the following:

Both Utilization Types

If you have selected Both Utilization Types (for migration purposes) on your active PS Cloud Analytics Setup record, then you can select which set of dashboards you want to create in your PS Cloud Advanced Analytics app. It allows you to create dashboards from both the Utilization Calculation and Utilization Setup calculation options.

Warning: When you are using Both Utilization types, you will come across two sets of utilization dashboards that use different datasets. In Winter 2023, we have implemented Utilization Summary and Capacity Summary dashboards. These new dashboards produce slightly different results than the results of the dashboards implemented in Business Analytics earlier to the Winter 2023 release.

Utilization Calculation

If you have selected Utilization Calculation on your active PS Cloud Analytics Setup record then the following dashboards are created in your PS Cloud Advanced Analytics app:

• PSA Capacity
• PSA Capacity and Demand Planning
• PSA Overview
• PSA Utilization

Utilization Setup

If you have selected Utilization Setup on your active PS Cloud Analytics Setup record then the following dashboards are created in your PS Cloud Advanced Analytics app:

• PSA Performance Summary
• PSA Utilization Summary
• PSA Capacity Summary
