Drop-down List Dependencies

The Timecard Entry page supports a controlling and dependent relationship for drop-down lists on timecard fields. For example, you can add this relationship between the Project and Methodology drop-down lists. Only certain values appear in the Methodology list depending on the value selected in the Project drop-down list.

Note

The controlling and dependent drop-down lists must be displayed in the same section of a timecard. For instance, in the timecard line, or the expanded view details section. When the controlling drop-down list is not displayed in the same section, all the options are shown on the dependent drop-down list.
