Managing Rate Card Sets
- In the View section, select an appropriate list view from the drop-down list to go directly to that list page, or click Create New View to define your own custom list view. List views let you display a list of records that match specific criteria.
- In the Recent section, select an item from the drop-down list to display a brief list of the top records matching that criteria. The choices are listed in the table.
- From the list, you can click any rate card set number to go directly to its detail.

Creating a Rate Card Set
Rate card sets enable you to group rate cards into a set which you can then apply to a project or opportunity so that you can control the rates used in the project.
To create a rate card set:
- Click the Rate Card Sets tab.
- Click New Rate Card Set.
- Enter the required rate card set information. For more information, see Rate Card Set Fields.
- Click Save. PSA creates the set and displays the rate card set settings.
- Click Associate New Rate Card.
- In the Available Rate Cards popup, from the Rate Card Role drop-down list, select a rate card role.
- From the list displayed, select one or more rate cards to include in the set and click Associate. PSA associates the cards with the set. See default-role-on-rate-card-set for information on configuring the default role.
- Repeat the steps above for any other rate cards you want to add.
- [Optional] Click Associate New Rate Card and in the Available Rate Cards popup, from the Rate Card Role drop-down list, select None from the drop-down list and associate one of the rate cards displayed with the set. This rate card is applied to any roles that do not have an explicit rate card in the set.
- Click the Rate Card Sets tab to return to the list of sets available.
Disassociating Rate Cards From Rate Card Sets
You must have the delete permission on the Rate Card Set Junction object to disassociate rate cards from rate card sets.
To disassociate a rate card from a rate set:
- On the Rate Card Sets page, select a rate card set name.
- From the list displayed in the Associated Rate Cards section, select one or more rate cards in the Action column you want to disassociate from the rate card set.
- Click Disassociate. PSA disassociates the cards with the set.
- Repeat the steps above for any other rate cards you want to disassociate.
- Click the Rate Card Sets tab to return to the list of sets available.
