Setting up Rate Cards

To create a new rate cardSuggested bill rate or average cost rate for a resource role in a region, practice or group. You can use these rates for information purposes in resource requests.:

1. Do one of the following:
   • Click New on the Rate Cards tab.
   • If you want to automatically associate the new Rate Card with a regionA level of hierarchy used in PSA to which other objects belong such as resources, opportunities and projects., practiceA level of hierarchy used in PSA to which other objects belong such as resources, opportunities and projects. or groupA level of hierarchy used in PSA to which other objects belong such as resources, opportunities and projects., click New Rate Card in the Rate Cards related list of the region, practice or group that you want to associate the rate card with.
2. Complete the fields as described in Rate Card Fields.
3. Click Save.

If you entered a Resource Role and an Account, Region, Practice or Group, PSA populates the suggested bill rate and average cost rate automatically when a user creates a resource requestA means of asking for resources for a project or an opportunity..
