Generate Missing Timecard Fields

Here is a description of the fields and buttons on the Schedule Missing Timecard and Generate Missing Timecards pages.

Field     Description
Region M   The regionClosedA level of hierarchy used in PSA to which other objects belong such as resources, opportunities and projects. on which to calculate missing timecards for.
Practice M   The practiceClosedA level of hierarchy used in PSA to which other objects belong such as resources, opportunities and projects. on which to calculate missing timecards for.
Group M   The groupClosedA level of hierarchy used in PSA to which other objects belong such as resources, opportunities and projects. on which to calculate missing timecards for.
Week End Date *   The week end date to calculate missing timecards for.
Week Start Date *   The week start date to calculate missing timecards for.
Include Sublevels     Select to generate the missing timecards based on all sub-levels of the selected region, practice or group.

Schedule

Field Description
Type The week to run the report on. Current week creates a report on the week in which the report is scheduled to run. Last week creates a report for the week prior to that which the report is scheduled to run on. This field applies only to the scheduled job. The Week End Date has no effect on scheduled missing timecardClosedA record that indicates a resource has not entered a timecard. Missing timecards are calculated based on criteria defined by your administrator. generation.
Frequency

The interval to schedule the calculation of missing timecards.

Schedule recurring weekly or monthly batch jobs.

Recurring Schedule Options

Weekly

Select from day of the week or for specific days of the month.

The "L" fields let you specify the last selected day less the indicated number.

Tip: Select all week days (Sunday through Saturday) and select L-1 for an event to occur on the second last day of the month.
Monthly Use the drop-down option to select the day of the month or select which day of the week in a given month for the event occurrence.

For example:

  • If you want to schedule the event to occur on a Wednesday when that day falls within the first ten days of the month, select Weekly, Wednesday and checkboxes 1 to 10.
  • If you want the event to occur on the last Wednesday of the month, select Monthly and On the Last Wednesday.

Use the picklists to specify the time of day for the event to occur.

Start Time The time of the day to calculate missing timecards.

Buttons

Button Description
Generate Generates missing timecards based on the information entered in the Information section.
Schedule Schedules the generation of missing timecards based on the Schedule section.
