Managing Accounting Currencies

Once you have located the currency on the accounting currency home or list pages, click its ISO code to display detailed information.

To update an accounting currency, click Edit, and then change the fields that you want to update. When you have finished, click Save. You can also click Save & New to save the changes to the current record and then immediately begin to create another.

In single-currency modeClosedState in use when your Salesforce CRM organization is not enabled for multiple currencies., a single accounting currency record is automatically created for you when you activate your organization's first company. When this accounting currency record exists for a single-currency organizationClosedAn organization that is not enabled for multiple currencies. If you are unsure, contact your Salesforce administrator., you cannot create new accounting currency records.

You cannot change the home and dual currencies for a company once the first document has been posted.

Related Lists

The lower portion of the page provides information related to the accounting currency, such as exchange rates. The related lists that you see are determined by your personal customization, by any customization your administratorClosedOne or more individuals in your organization who can configure and customize the application. Users assigned the System Administrator profile have administrator privileges. has made to page layouts or your permissions to view related data. You can click on individual items to display additional detail. Clicking New lets you directly add new items.
