Setting Up the Avalara VAT Reporting Integration
To set up the Avalara VAT Reporting integration, you must perform the following steps.
- Create and configure the Amazon Web Services (AWS) storage server to store your Avalara VAT Reporting XML documents. For more information, see the AWS help.
- Mount the AWS server folder that will contain the XML documents on a local PC with Avalara VAT Reporting installed. For more information, see the AWS help.
- Create a named credential to store the connection details to the AWS server in Salesforce. For more information, see Creating a Named Credential for Avalara VAT Reporting.
- Enable the Spanish or French localization in Accounting. For more information, see Using Localization.
- [Optional] Customize the default FinancialForce Accounting to Avalara VAT Reporting mappings. For example, if you want to use data from a custom field, rather than a standard Accounting field. For more information, see About the Avalara VAT Reporting Mappings.
- Enable the integration using the Feature Console. For more information, see Enabling the Avalara VAT Reporting Integration.
