Monitoring the Progress of a Background Process
After starting a background process, you can monitor its progress by viewing the related logs.
- Click the Background Processes tab.
- Open the required background process. Check the Description and Record Type fields to identify the process you are looking for. Descriptions for the different record types are listed in the table after these steps.
In Lightning Experience, the Logs tab displays summary logs and a list of errors that occurred, if any. Summary logs for the different record types are listed in the table after these steps. - Check the status of the background process. If it is set to "Error", the process failed.
