Large Journals Overview
The Large Document Processing functionality enables you to override the usual journal line limits and create journals with up to 9,980 lines.
The existing journal functionality allows journals with up to 250 lines to be created and posted immediately and synchronously; journals with more lines, up to the default limit of 1,000, can be queued using the Background Posting Scheduler and posted asynchronously.
For journals with Large Document Processing enabled, journals with up to 1,000 lines can be posted immediately and synchronously, and journals with up to 9,980 lines can be queued and posted asynchronously in batches using the Background Posting Scheduler.
