If you use the Integration Hub Connector: Jira - PSA integration and the Sync Resources from PSA to Users in Jira is enabled in your org, you can create Jira users from PSA resources.
To create a user in Jira from a resource:
- Navigate to the Contacts tab.
- Open the resource that you want to create a Jira user from.
- Make sure that following fields are populated for the resource:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email (the address must be unique across all resources synced to Jira)
- Select Sync with Jira.
- Save your changes.
The connector automatically creates a Jira user for the resource. Once the synchronization finishes, the Jira Correlation ID field is populated with the username or account ID of the user in Jira. Depending on how the connector is set up, Jira might send a welcome email with login details to the new user. For more information, see
