Creating an Estimate
An estimate enables you to estimate custom services work during the sales process. You can then submit the estimate for approval before it becomes a live project.
To create an estimate:
- Navigate to the opportunity record you want to create an estimate for.
- Select the Services CPQ tab.
- On the Estimates related list, click New.
- Enter a name for the estimate
- Select a start date.
- [Optional] Select the Primary Estimate checkbox if this estimate is the primary version for this opportunity.
- [Optional] Select a project to use as a template by searching for a project using two or more characters anywhere in the project name. You can select from all projects or choose to select from only template projects.
- Click Create.
