Project Manager Work Planner Overview
The PSA Project Manager Work Planner component is part of the Project Management workspace. An administrator can also add the component to any Lightning app page or Lightning home page.
The Project Manager Work Planner enables you to plan project work easily by viewing assignments and resource requests grouped by project or by resource, and quickly viewing a resource's details and scheduled work.
The Project Manager Work Planner contains the following views:
- Scheduler: Lists assignments and resource requests grouped either by project or by resource over time. This gives a good overview of what a resource is due to work on at a particular time and makes it possible to see if the resource is over-allocated.
- Grid: Lists assignments and resource requests grouped by project or by resource, shows the number of hours a resource is scheduled to work each day, and indicates if a resource is over-allocated. This view enables you to view and update the hours per day on assignments and resource requests to make sure resources carry out the right amount of work at the right time.
