Managing Intercompany Definitions

Once you have located an intercompany definition on a home or list page, click its name to display detailed information.

Editing Intercompany Definitions

To update an intercompany definition, click Edit, and then change the fields you want to update. When you have finished, click Save. You can also click Save & New to save the current record and then create another.

Deleting Intercompany Definitions

To delete an intercompany definition that you no longer need:

  1. Once you have located the intercompany definition that you want to delete on a home or list page, click its number to display its detail page.
  2. Click Delete. A warning message is displayed.
  3. Click OK to confirm the deletion. The deleted record is moved to the recycle bin.

Enabling or Disabling Auto-Process and Auto-Post for Multiple Intercompany Definitions

You can enable or disable the Auto-Process and Auto-Post options for multiple intercompany definitions at once. To do this:

  1. Click the Intercompany Definitions tab.
  2. Choose a predefined view from the drop-down list to choose which intercompany definitions to display.
  3. Select the checkboxes of the intercompany definitions you want to edit.
  4. To enable or disable auto-processing, click the Auto-Process button then select or clear the Enable Auto-processing checkbox and click Save.
  5. To enable or disable auto-posting, click the Auto-Post button then select or clear the Enable Auto-posting checkbox and click Save.
