Resource Requests Overview

You can use a resource requestClosed A means of asking for resources for a project or an opportunity. to ask for a resource before the start of a projectClosed A collection of activities and related items to be managed over a defined time range, such as timecards, expenses, milestones and budgets..

On the New Resource Request page, you enter specific details to help identify the right resources for the project. You can add a workflow to the system to notify operations staff members when new resource requests are created.

You can assign resources to created resource requests, or directly to projects, as shown in the table below:

Rate Cards

You can create rate cards to automatically attach a suggested bill rate and average cost rate for a resource role on an accountClosed In this context, accounts are organizations or people that you conduct business with, such as customers or vendors. Account is a standard Salesforce object. Rate Card Discounts
